Environmental SciencesThe Division of Environmental Sciences provides for the identification and conservation of natural systems, native vegetation and wildlife through project review, permit issuance and enforcement of Lee County environmental land use regulations. The regulations include the environmental sections of the Lee County Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code (LDC). This permitting program applies to the unincorporated areas of Lee County

If you are involved in land use permitting activities that may involve an environmental issue, you are encouraged to consult an ES staff person to discuss the details of your project or site. Please contact an Environmental Sciences staff person with any questions.
