BOCC MEETINGS TO BE REBROADCAST

 

Lee County residents can now watch their local government in action at a time that is convenient to them.  Lee

County is now rebroadcasting the regular weekly Board of County Commissioners meeting on the MediaOne
 
cable system.  Viewers can watch the meetings on Lee TV, the county’s full-time government access channel,
 
broadcast on MediaOne’s Channel 54.
 
 
The rebroadcasts of the meetings are part of Lee County’s commitment to enhance communication with the
 
public.  The weekly Board meeting will be broadcast, via tape, each Tuesday at 8:00pm, Wednesday at 4:00pm,
 
and Saturday at 4:00pm.    This will give residents the choice of viewing the weekly Commission meeting in the
 
morning, evening, afternoon, and on the weekend to fit their personal schedule. 
 
 
Lee County Public Resources has also posted Lee TV’s broadcast schedule for MediaOne subscribers on the
 
County’s website, www.lee-county.com.  Residents can click on the link listed on the site’s home page to
 
view the schedule and information about programming.  MediaOne’s cable system serves more than 60,000
 
households throughout Lee County.
