Fort Myers, FL, October 22, 2001 - LeeWay customers with a $.50 coin drop discount program will no longer be allowed to physically throw coins in the lanes each time they cross the bridge effective November 1^st. These customers are now required to establish a Prepaid Toll Account to deduct $.50 from their account electronically, or pay the full $1.00 toll in the lane. LeeWay customers must also maintain a positive balance in their prepaid account, or their $.50 discount program will not be valid in the lane. Toll plazas in Lee County will still have coin-drop buckets, however full price tolls will be required. Establishment of your prepaid account must be done in conjunction with your program renewal (annual or semi-annual). Your prepaid account may be opened with a credit card, check, or money order in the amount of $30 for the 1^st vehicle and $20 for each additional vehicle. This is in addition to your payment for your discount program. October 31^st is the deadline for ALL renewals. If you have already returned your renewal form and have not established your Prepaid Account, call the LeeWay Service Center at 931-0100, or visit the service center at 1366 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers today.

The LeeWay Service Center will be open this Saturday, October 27th 9:00AM until 1:00PM, but customers are encouraged to mail, fax or email (leewayinfo.com) their form to the Service Center during this busy time of year. Regular LeeWay Service Center hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30AM until 5:30PM.
