THE BEACHES OF FORT MYERS & SANIBEL NAMED TO TOP 2004 U.S. TRAVEL DESTINATIONS LIST
Fort Myers placed eighth place, when travel agents were asked to identify their top bookings for 2004. In addition to Fort Myers, other popular destinations making the list included Las Vegas, Orlando, Honolulu, Phoenix/Scottsdale, New York City, and Anchorage. The results placed Fort Myers above Los Angeles and San Francisco.
