Lee County and FGCU Partner to Host Volleyball Tournament

 

In partnership with FGCU's women's volleyball program, Lee County is preparing to host what appears to be Florida's second largest women's volleyball tournament of 2004.  Nearly 80 teams from the state of Florida are expected to compete at five venues starting Saturday, Feb. 14 through Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004. 

 

Competition starts each day at 8:00 AM and will run until approximately 8:00 PM.  Facilities hosting the event are: Harborside Event Center, FGCU's Alico Arena, Cypress Lake Middle School, St. Michael's and Bishop Verot.  For more information regarding the event, call Glen Davis at 707-8959.
