INDOOR AIR QUALITY OPEN HOUSE/TRADE SHOW FRIDAY (MAY 7)
FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 6, 2004) - Lee County Facilities Management and The Florida Inter-County Indoor Air Quality Committee will host an open house on May 7, 2004 at the East County Regional Library, 881 Gunnery Road, Lehigh Acres, FL 33971. The meeting will begin at 8 AM with coffee and donuts.
The keynote speakers will be Attorney Mr. Michael S. Greene and Mr. Tom Yacobellis, the Indoor Air Quality Association president. Jennifer Goen, one of the legislative assistants in the Bradenton district office of state Sen. Michael Bennett, will be in attendance.
Lee County Facilities Management started the Inter-County IAQ Committee about eight months ago. This group of 25 government and school facility managers from South Florida, attend regular meetings to discuss indoor air quality issues. The committee's mission is to empower government employees to work regionally and cross-jurisdictionally to improve indoor air quality in their public facilities.
The meeting will end with a mini trade show. A dozen Indoor Air Qualty consultants and vendors will be on hand to answer questions the members of the committee may have about their buildings.
