Baseball Showcases to Keep Ballpark Busy

 

Perfect Game Baseball's Sunshine East Showcase and their Academic & Unsigned Senior Showcase will start this weekend and extend into next week.

 

All activity for both events will be held at the Red Sox Player Development Facility (5-Plex).

 

"The fields are great, hotels are fantastic and the people treat us well" said Perfect Game president Jerry Ford.

 

Lee County has enjoyed a long relationship with Perfect Game, based out of Cedar Rapids, IA. Perfect Game is the number one scout reporting agency in all of baseball.

 

On Saturday, June 12, and Sunday, June 13th, the Sunshine East Showcase will feature over 200 underclass  players from across the country for evaluation by Perfect Game staff and a large number of Major League scouts. The event will take place from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Saturday, and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday.

 

On Tuesday, June 15, and Wednesday, June 16, Perfect Game will hold another showcase targeting unsigned senior players. The event will be held from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Tuesday and 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Wednesday.
