LEE COUNTY WAIVING PARK FEES THIS WEEKEND

FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 29, 2004) - The Board of Lee County Commissioners has waived all county park fees this weekend in recognition of July being National Parks & Recreation Month and to encourage residents and visitors to get outside and take advantage of the county's many recreational venues.

This Saturday (July 31) and Sunday (Aug. 1), parking fees will not be charged at all Lee County regional parks and boat ramps, and pool entrance fees also will be waived.
