UPCOMING TRAINING FOR VOLUNTEER GUIDES AT MANATEE PARK
FORT MYERS, Fla. (November 15, 2004) - Lee County Manatee Park encourages anyone interested in becoming a Volunteer Interpretive Guide to participate in a three-part training program focusing on the endangered Florida Manatee.
Dates are December 4, 7, 14 from 9am-noon. Upon completion, volunteers will enjoy interaction with visitors from all over the world who come to catch a glimpse of this fabulous animal.
Manatee Park also features an extensive butterfly garden and is a "Demonstration Landscape Site" for the FLORIDA YARDS & NEIGHBORHOOD Program.
