LANE SHIFTS IN EFFECT – IMPERIAL STREET/LIVINGSTON ROAD AT BONITA BEACH ROAD MOTORISTS ARE ASKED TO AVOID THE AREA
 

Bonita Springs, FL, (November 17, 2004) – Beginning Friday, November 19^th, lane shifts will be in effect on Imperial Street/Livingston Road, south of Bonita Beach Road, to allow crews to install a drainage structure.  These lanes shifts are necessary for crews to construct a box culvert as part of the Bonita Beach Road Widening and Resurfacing Project.

Over the next few weeks, contractors will construct the box culvert in two phases beginning on the east side of Livingston Road.   

• During phase one, traffic will be shifted to the west side of Livingston Road for approximately ten days. 
• Once the first phase is complete, phase two will begin and traffic will shift to the east side of the Livingston Road while crews continue construction of the box culvert. 

The work is expected to last through the second week of December. 

Although two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the crossing, motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.  Alternate north/south routes include I-75, US 41 and Old US 41.
