Taxicab and Livery (Ordinance No. 00-01)
Public Resources issues permits for taxi and other transport vehicles that operate in the unincorporated portions of Lee County.

Permits are issued for a period on one year from October 1st to September 30th. Fares picked up in the cities of Fort Myers or Cape Coral require municipal licensing. If you already have a city permit from either Cape Coral or Fort Myers you are exempt from County permitting. If you wish to apply for a County License please fill out the forms listed below and bring them with the other required documents to our office. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM till 5:00 PM.
