WELCOME TO CONTRACTOR LICENSING

 

To renew your Certificate of Competency you must:

  1. Have Current insurance information on file with the Contractor licensing department.

  • You can view your Insurance information on file prior to paying renewal fees by clicking the ‘here’ link below.  If your insurance is not current you may submit your insurance information by sending it to ContractorLicensing@leegov.comOr you may fax it to 239-485-5577.

  1.  Pay your renewal fees.

  • To pay renewal fees (Fees are not viewable till Aug. 13th) click here , and do one of the following:

v     Enter your case number in the appropriate field.  (Your case number can be found on your renewal notice mailed to you in August.)

v     If you do not know your case number, enter your company name in the Company Name Field.  When results are displayed select the case number beginning in ‘LIC’  

Note: Late fees will be applied if renewed after September 30.

Attn: Upon receipt of payment and insurance validation you will receive your Certificate of Competency card by mail.

  1.  Submit a copy of your current State Registration, if applicable.

If your Certificate of Competency is not renewed or placed in Voluntary Inactive Status* by March 31, 2008, your Certificate expires.  Expired Certificates require re-filing and Construction Licensing Board Approval.

* The application for Voluntary Inactive Status can be found below; you must pay your renewal fees and submit this application to the Contractor Licensing Department.
