- On November 27, 2001, the Lee County Commission adopted school impact fees at the request of the Lee County School Board. The fees were effective December 1, 2001. The new school impact fees are as follows:
  - Single Family Home: $2,232
  - Multiple Family Unit: $691 (per unit)
  - Mobile Home: $425
