DR/GR Ad Hoc
Committee
At its 9/11/07 meeting, the Board of County
Commissioners directed that a DR/GR land use study be conducted and
that a committee be established to assist staff with the study and
to help develop a balanced result. The committee is a “special”
committee formed for the task of the study and will be in existence
until the study is complete.
The committee consists of 15 members (3 appointed by
each commissioner) to represent the following groups:
1)
Mining
Industry, FDOT, large landowners
2) Residents
3) Other countywide interests including environmental, natural resources, water management district,
general citizens, smart growth members, etc.
The Committee is subject to
financial disclosure; Sunshine Law; and Public Records laws. |
