Interest in our personal family history transcends all cultural and religious affiliations and gives us a sense of heritage and responsibility in carrying out the legacy of our ancestors. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida that we do hereby proclaim the month of October 2007 as: FAMILY HISTORY MONTH In Lee County and urge all of its residents to recognize the importance by celebrating their families’ heritage.
