NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida that we do hereby proclaim July 2009 as:
“Sanibel-Captiva’s Cultural Heritage Month”
in Lee County and thank the organizations that have come together to provide a month to focus on the remarkable early settlers of our Island and to showcase their cultural diversity.
