Hundreds of AKC member and licensed clubs, as well as other animal organizations across the country recognize AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day and have committed to educating the public about responsible dog ownership through local events and demonstrations; and Whereas:The Dog Obedience Club of Lee County, Inc., with permission from AKC and in conjunction with AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day, will be hosting their second Responsible Dog Ownership Day along with the Annual Lab Fest at Four Freedoms Park in Cape Coral on November 20, 2010; and Whereas: Every dog deserves a responsible, educated and respectful owner.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE Board of County
Commissioners of Lee County, Florida does hereby proclaim November 20, 2010 as: AKC RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERSHIP DAY
