    Attention:

Lee County Licensed Water Well Contractors, with the signing of House Bill 999 by Governor Scott,

Your Lee County Water Well, Monitoring Well and Well Abandonment Contractor Licenses will no longer be needed to perform work in Lee County, As long as you have a valid up to date State of Florida Water Well Contractor’s License.

Please be aware that any and all violations from this point on will now be attached to your State of Florida Water Well Contractor License along with points accessed.

However, if you plan on performing work as a Soil Boring or an Elevator Shaft Contractor, you are required to obtain and maintain a valid Lee County Soil Boring and or Elevator shaft contractor specialty License. You may convert your existing Lee County Water Well Contractor’s license to allow for both if desired. Please contact Ken Lovejoy at 239 533-8540 or Dee Elschlager at 239 533-8810 with questions or requests.
