Lee County Manager: Doug Meurer
Bio: Doug Meurer was appointed Interim Lee County Manager in November 2012. He joined the County as Utilities Director in 2008 and was promoted to Assistant County Manager overseeing Public Works in 2010.
Services Provided:
The County Manager is appointed by and reports to the Lee County Commissioners. The Manager implements the policies and programs of the Board and provides general management of county government.
The County Manager directly oversees the Economic Development Office, the Sports Authority and the Visitor & Convention Bureau.
Six Assistant County Managers oversee the rest of the County departments.
