The following guidance if for household hazardous waste only. Refer to the "Businesses" section of this website for business waste disposal guidence.

      The Lee County Solid Waste Division has opened its permanent Household Chemical Waste Collection facility on 6441 Topaz Court (off Metro Pkwy) for operation. 

      Residents may now dispose of household chemical waste between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday and every first Saturday of the month from 8 am to 12 Noon.  The facility will be closed on holidays observed by Lee County.

Prescription drugs may be taken to Lee County Sheriff's Office prescription drug drop-off boxes Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the following locations:
