NOTICE OF INTENT TO ENACT A  LEE COUNTY ORDINANCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida will consider the enactment of a county ordinance on Tuesday, the 24^th  day of November 2009, at 10:00 o'clock a.m., in the County Commissioners' Meeting Room, Old Lee County Courthouse, 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida.  The title of the proposed ordinance is:

 AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF LEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING LEE COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 04-09 INCREASING THE IMPOSITION AND COLLECTION OF AN ADDITIONAL SURCHARGE FROM FIFTEEN DOLLARS ($15) TO THIRTY DOLLARS ($30.00) FOR NON-CRIMINAL TRAFFIC INFRACTIONS OR CRIMINAL VIOLATIONS LISTED IN SECTION 318.17 FOR FUNDING STATE COURT FACILITIES; PROVIDING FOR PARTIAL SUNSET; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS OF LAW; SEVERABILITY; CODIFICATION AND SCRIVENERS ERRORS AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF DECEMBER 1, 2009.

1.         Copies of this Notice and the proposed ordinance are available for inspection or copying during regular business hours at the Minutes Office of the Clerk of Courts of Lee County, located in the Courthouse Administration Building, 2115 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida.  Interested parties may appear at the meeting in person or through counsel, and be heard with respect to the adoption of the proposed ordinance.
