The Library System Foundation of Lee County, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to promoting, supporting and enhancing the Lee County Library System. While most individual libraries within the Lee County system have a Friends of the Library group to support that particular library location, the Foundation is the umbrella organization that assists with the needs of the entire Library System.

The Library System Foundation sponsors the annual Chocolate & Spirits fundraiser and other efforts to support the Lee County Library System's annual Southwest Florida Reading Festival.
