FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Lee County Library System Introduces
The Public PC Solution at Captiva Memorial Library
Less Time Waiting, More Time for the
Beach
Join us Thursday, October 21 at the
Captiva Memorial Library for a demonstration of the new Public PC
Solution. Drop in anytime 12 noon - 3 p.m. for questions and answers.
The Public PC Solution enables library
patrons to:
- schedule their own public PC appointments, up to one week in advance
- preview print jobs including how many pages the printing will be and
what the cost will be
- prepay for printing with an account (up to $20)
- pay by personal check or cash/coins
The new system helps the Lee County
Library System reduce printing costs, wasted paper and wasted printing
cartridges. Printing costs will be ten cents per black and white page
and one dollar per color page. There is no charge for printing from
the Library's catalog.
An online brochure is available at this link:

This system has already been introduced
at all other Lee County Library System locations. Patrons who try the
new system will receive a free mini beach ball (while supplies last.)
