FORT MYERS, Fla., November 6, 2003 - For Immediate Release
FORT MYERS, Fla., November 6, 2003 –
Rick Bragg, author of “I’m a Soldier Too: The
Jessica Lynch Story,” will be among the top authors appearing at the 5th
Annual Lee County Reading Festival. The Jessica Lynch biography is due for
release on Veteran’s Day next Tuesday, November 11.
The fifth annual Lee County Reading Festival is scheduled for Saturday, March
13, 2004. An estimated 20,000 people attended this free, one-day event last
year. The Festival takes place at Centennial Park and Harborside Event Center
in downtown Fort Myers, Florida and features international best-selling authors
like Bragg, as well as popular local authors and writers from around the state.
Bragg was contracted by Lee County Reading Festival two months ago, and the
Festival planning committee is expecting a standing-room-only crowd for the
March 2004 event.
