FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Lee County Library System Introduces The Public PC Solution

Less Time Waiting, More Time for the Beach
Join us for a special media reception Monday, July 26, at the South County Regional Library. Drop in anytime 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. for a demonstration, question and answers, and refreshments. An online brochure is available at this link:

The Public PC Solution enables library patrons to:
- schedule their own public PC appointments, up to one week in advance
- preview print jobs including how many pages the printing will be and what the cost will be
- prepay for printing with an account (up to $20)
- pay by personal check or cash/coins

The new system helps the Lee County Library System reduce printing costs, wasted paper and wasted printing cartridges. Printing costs will be ten cents per black and white page and one dollar per color page. There is no charge for printing from the Library's catalog.

This system will be available starting Monday, July 26, at the South County Regional Library. It has already been introduced at the North Fort Myers Public Library, Fort Myers-Lee County Public Library, and East County Regional Library. Additional Lee County Library System locations will begin providing this service at a later date. Patrons who try the new system will receive a free mini beach ball (while supplies last.)
