County Library System presents first “One Book, One Community” reading
and discussion program
Fort Myers, FL – Lee County
Library System will announce Southwest Florida’s first One Book, One
Community initiative. One Book, One Community is a countywide reading
and discussion program that encourages all our residents to read the
same book at the same time to create a citywide
book club. Join the Lee County Library System Director and staff
for a
press conference to announce
the title of the book selected for this program on Wednesday, November
17 at 11 a.m. in the first floor conference room of the Lee County
Administration Building, 2115 Second Street in downtown Fort Myers.
The author, One Book One
Community program coordinator and community partners will be available
for questions and answers. Press kits will be available with a synopsis
of the book, fact sheet and schedule of events. There will also be
refreshments and a door prize.
