Book Kits Available |
The Lee
County Library System has complete book discussion kits for current popular
titles that are available to be checked out by book discussion groups.
Each kit consists of 20 copies of the
book in various formats (if available) and a book discussion guide in a rolling
book bag. The formats available in most of the kits include:
• Hard cover
• Paperback
• Large print
• Audio book on CD
• Audio book on cassette
The kits can be checked out for 6 weeks with overdue charges of $2.00 per day
for the whole kit, to a maximum of $20.00. Kits may not be renewed.
Book discussion kits must be returned to the circulation desk at one of the Lee
County libraries. Do not put kits in book drop boxes.
Please check the contents of book discussion kits against the total number of
items listed on the kit tag before you return the kit to the library.
Replacement cost of an entire kit is $750.00. Replacement cost of individual
parts of the kit will depend on the cost of each particular item.
