Support
the Lee County Library System
There
are many ways in which you may support the Library! The Lee County Library
System’s most pressing need at this time is funding for our annual Reading
Festival event. The Southwest Florida Reading Festival serves as a tool to inform people of the
variety of amazing resources available for free from their public libraries.
Each year, one third of the 15,000 people attending the festival learn something
new about library services!
Donations to the
Southwest Florida
Reading Festival

The Library System relies on donations to support this highly anticipated family
event which is now entering its ninth year. Please consider supporting the
Library with a gift to support the Southwest Florida Reading Festival.
If you prefer, checks may be made payable to LCLS-Reading Festival and mailed
to:

Tributes
Consider a donation to the Southwest Florida Reading Festival in honor or in
memory of someone – a thoughtful way to remember family and friends. Use the
“Donate Now” button above and fill in the “Additional Comments” section with the
honoree’s name, whether it is in memory of or in honor of, and the name and
address of the person to be notified of the tribute.
Wills & Bequests
Including the Library in your will allows you to
carry your commitment to the Library beyond your lifetime. Your attorney,
accountant or trust officer will work with you to design a bequest that fits
your situation and meets your goals. A professional will also make sure you
receive the tax benefits allowed for your gift. If you already have a will, it
may be amended by a codicil to include the Library. The following is sample
bequest phrasing:
I bequeath (Dollar Amount, Percentage or Remainder) to
the Lee County Library System’s Endowment Fund held by the Southwest Florida
Community Foundation in
Fort Myers
,
Florida.
