For Parents GetNetWise.Org This extensive resource for parents includes age specific Internet safety guidelines (toddlers- teens), a guideline for recognizing potential emergencies and the appropriate law enforcement agencies to contact. This site recommends children's websites and Internet Safety tools. For Parents Internet Content Ratings Association Check out family Internet Safety Contract, the Kids Safety Tips and Children’s Bill of Rights for the Internet. Children's pages feature kid friendly graphics with simple language and not an overload of information. For Parents and Younger Children isafe.org This site includes resources and newsletters for educators, parents, teens/tweens, and children. There is also a monitored chat room for students under 18. For all ages National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Resources includes a tip sheet for parents about how to talk with their kids about online safety, contact information for law enforcement and other agencies, as well as information on responding to an Internet Safety incident. For Parents and Children Safe Steps to Protect Florida's Children This site is produced by a partnership of the Office of the Attorney General of Florida, National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Florida School Boards Association, Inc. , Macy’s Florida, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and American Initiatives. It features tips for Internet Safety as well as, safe shopping, how to find the right child care, how to keep kids safe when moving to a new neighborhood, tips for teens, and more. For Parents SafeTeens.com This site offers information that will appeal to Teens such as “educating your parents” about on-line safety. There’s also a listing of dangers by type of Internet use from Chat rooms to Instant Messaging. From this site, users can subscribe to a free online newsletter. For Teens and Parents wiredsafety.org WiredSafety provides help, information and education to Internet and mobile device users of all ages. The organization handles cases of cyberabuse ranging from identity and credential theft, online fraud and cyberstalking, to hacking and malicious code attacks.
