    Search this resource for the pros and cons of approximately 600 controversial topics in the news. Chronologies, illustrations, maps, tables, sidebars, bibliographies and contact information provide balanced and accurate coverage of current and historical issues.
     
  • FCAT  Explorer 
    This Web site, produced by the Florida Department of Education, provides information about the FCAT.  It also provides skills practice for both reading and math, and passage and question topics from Social Studies, Science, and the Arts.  A school-provided sign-in name and password are required to access the student materials.  Ask your child's teacher for this information.  There are materials in the Parent and Family Guide section that do not require a sign-in name and password.  If you are in a Lee County Library branch and do not have a sign-in name and password, check with the reference desk.
