The Lakes Regional Library is Lee County Library System's newest and largest library location. At 40,000 square feet, Lakes Regional Library has a spacious interior with room for a collection of up to 150,000 items. It features an Audio/Visual room with the library system's largest collection of books on CD,  75 public access computers (most with Internet access), quiet reading areas with comfortable seating, and the library system's first coffee area. Other features include a large Young Adult room, a children's area complete with a storytelling room, puppet theater and story garden. There is a large meeting room with seating for 180. A smaller conference room is also available.
 

The library offers free programs for adults, teens and children.
