Lee County Library System’s very own Tonya Player (Pine Island Public Library) has
been crowned Mango Queen 2007!
“I knew I was nominated by a library patron, but I was completely shocked… and pleased,” Tonya said.
Tonya will officially hold court at the Mango Mania Festival July 14-15, at the German American Club on Pine Island Road.
Her royal duties will be “promoting good will, the library and of course,
Mangoes!”
Several royal visits throughout her “queendom” are now scheduled. To find out
