During the school year, students
in elementary and middle school are welcome to visit the Homework Center
at the Dunbar
Jupiter Hammon Public Library. The Center provides a space for students to
complete their daily assignments. We do not provide tutors, but we
will review each student's work with them and help when needed.
The goal of the Homework Center is to help each student learn to use
library resources to complete his or her homework assignments.
Program Hours
Tuesdays from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Wednesdays from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Thursdays from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
No child may be in the Center for the
full three hours it is open. When homework is completed, students
are expected to leave the Homework Center. The Center is NOT an
after-school day care. Any student in the Homework Center is
expected to follow the patron Code of Conduct.
Volunteers
If you are an adult who is interested
