The Lee County Library System encourages Kids and Teens
to participate in another summer of fun-filled reading and exciting activities at your library. The annual summer reading programs run from
June 9 to July 26, 2008. Sign up for programs begins on
Wednesday, June 4. Summer Reading Programs are part of the statewide Florida Library Youth Program.
The following three programs will be held:
For infants to preschool
Read-to-Me
encourages parents to read to their babies and to
preschoolers.
Storytime Schedule (2-page PDF)
For elementary age children up to 5th grade
Whole Wide World @ My Public Library Summer Reading Team (SRT) promotes continuous reading during the summer.
SRT events, such as puppet shows, crafts, animal shows, and more, are free for children
ages 6 and older, but tickets are required unless otherwise indicated. Tickets for each

For teens in middle and high school
Read It! Watch It! Win It!
(RWW) introduces teens to a host of free recreational and education opportunities and involves them in crafts, game nights and many more entertaining events.
Teens and tweens can win prizes and books by reviewing books, movies and CDs, and attending
RWW programs. For more information, pick up a Read It! Watch It! Win It!
