The Lee County Library System always needs and welcomes volunteers.

Become a library volunteer...

Take advantage of many opportunities:

What volunteer opportunities are available at my local library?  Here is a sampling:

  • Shelving library materials and keeping the collection in good shape
  • Repairing damaged materials.
  • Tutoring students with reading and math
  • Helping with mailings
  • Photocopying information
  • Typing labels
  • Preparing materials for children's programs
  • Computer coaching
  • Assisting library patrons with their genealogy searches
  • Helping library patrons to use the library's on-line catalog
    and other electronic resources
