Mission Statement:
The mission of the surface water resources program is to protect, conserve, and manage
surface waters of the County. The mission is aimed at achieving the following goals:

Conservation, restoration, and preservation of flowway systems.

Flood damage prevention and protection.

Water quality improvement and preservation.

Infrastructure improvement and management.
