Tina Girard- Planning Technician
Has earned a degree in Environmental Management from the University of Rhode Island and has gained experience in the environmental field working for consultant firms and at laboratories. She has been a customer service representative at a privately owned environmental lab in Rhode Island and has most recently worked as a environmental field technician for the Lee County's Environmental Laboratory. She looks forward to continuing her education working with the Pollution Prevention Program.
Becky Alexander- Environmental Specialist SR
Has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Saint Leo University which is located in Pasco County. Previous work experience includes employment with the Department of Health in Limited Use Wells and with Lee County Natural Resources NPDES Storm Water Program. I look forward to furthering my career in the Pollution Prevention Program.
Dorian Cauceglia- Environmental Specialist SR
Has a degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University Of Central Florida. Previously he did research on hydrogen as a fuel source under a NASA grant. His past experience was with Perma-Fix, a hazardous waste facility in Orlando where he worked as a Chemist dealing with various waste streams.
Bryan Ott- Environmental Specialist, SR.
Has a background in the environmental field since the start of his career in 1998.He has an Associates Degree in Science from Edison Community College.While providing environmental services to the community, he is near completion of his B.A. Degree in Environmental Studies from Florida Coast University. Working for multiple government agencies and private consultants he has a diverse background ranging from environmental permitting; wetland ecology; geotechnical studies; soil and groundwater quality; Phase I and II projects; remedition projects;and project management.He looks forward to continuing his education while working in the Pollution Prevention Program.
James Peet- Environmental Specialist, SR
Over twenty years of experience conducting hazmat emergency response, clean-up and remediation. Hazmat Instructor for 150 man Navy Cargo Battalion. Specialized in monitoring, clean-up and remediation of nuclear and chemical agents. Formal education includes a BS in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College in New York and certifications as health physics and emergency medical technician.
