Kickapoo Creek/Lee County Civic Center Storm Water System Analysis

Project Objective:  To conduct a study to determine the feasibility of upgrading the existing obsolete storm water system at the Lee County Civic Center.  Kickapoo Creek was altered to flow through this site as a system of connected ponds.  The control structure associated with this system has historically been bypassed to account for both onsite and offsite drainage problems.   The final report will provide recommendations for water quality and drainage improvement upgrades for the Civic Center site

Completion Date:  February, 2008

Project Budget: $135,000 (Funding provided by South Florida Water Management District)

Project Status:   Complete.
