| Incumbent will conduct inspections on aboveground and underground storage tanks.
|
| Examples Of Essential Duties: |
| Incumbent will conduct annual pollutant storage tank compliance, closure, installation, and discharge inspections as well as the required re-inspections at Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) contracted sites. Will work with FDEP and site owners to attain compliance.

| Typical Qualifications: |
| Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in one of the Natural Sciences or closely related field. Two years experience in an environmental protection program or closely related field. Possession of a valid Florida class "E" driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.

| Supplemental Information: |
Prefer thorough knowledge of Florida Administrative Code, Rule Chapter 62-761 and computers. Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to work in all types of weather conditions, including heat, humidity, dust and gasoline/diesel fumes and ability to lift 50 up to 50 pounds. May require working various hours.
WORK HOURS/DAYS: 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday |
