Services Provided:
The Public Resources Division provides a central location for citizens to contact County Government for assistance and information on all aspects of county government operations. Within this division is the Municipal Services Taxing/Benefit Unit (MSTBU). This office assists citizens in creating special improvement units for capital projects and operational and maintenance (O&M) funding for existing infrastructure. Public Resources also performs a variety of administrative support functions including commissioners’ meeting agendas, advertising, administrative codes, document processing, advisory committee coordination and the video taping of meetings for public records. In addition, Public Resources provides internal support services to county departments, agencies and constitutional offices. This includes graphics for print and web design, high speed duplicating, processing of internal & outgoing mail, courier services, video production services, LEE TV, television broadcasting of government programming and live commission meetings and an active Speakers Bureau. Another program offered through Public Resources is Lee G.R.O.W.S, (Government Resource & Orientation Workshop Series). This is a workshop series that gives citizens an inside look at the operation of Lee County Government. Public Resources can provide tours of the historic Old Lee County Courthouse.
