The South Florida Water Management District has declared a water shortage and has implemented Phase II Watering Restrictions*.

 

 APPROVED WATERING DAYS: (Odd and Even numbers are determined by the last number of your address)

  • Odd numbered addresses (1,3,5,7,9) - Wednesdays and/or Saturdays
  • Even numbered addresses (0,2,4,6,8) or no address - Thursday and/or Sundays

APPROVED WATERING TIMES:

  • 4 a.m. to 8 a.m.

NO WATERING IS ALLOWED:

  • Between 8 a.m. to 4 a.m. OR
  • Mondays, Tuesdays, or Fridays

HAND WATERING IS ALLOWED:

  • Between 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on your designated watering days

CAR OR BOAT WASHING:

  • Between 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. OR 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on your designated watering days

Who Can I Call to Report a Watering Violation?

For residents within unincorporated Lee County they can call 239-274-2547 to report a watering violation.

 

For residents living within the City of Cape Coral, City of Bonita Springs, City of Sanibel and Captiva Island, City of Ft. Myers, and the Town of Ft. Myers Beach they should contact their local law enforcement or code enforcement to report watering violations.


* Watering restrictions for residents of the City of Sanibel Captiva Island, who irrigate with water provided by The Island Water Association (IWA), may click here for more information.
